Opening Times:  Monday Tuesday & Thursday & Friday 9am to 5pm Wednesday 10am to 5pm

Shropshire Council service point via self help telephone links provides information on Council services, together with a wide range of community information.

Blue Badge applications, Council tax and housing benefit applications, Applying for concessionary travel, Making bookings for appointments with the registrars team, Referrals to the Housing Options Team, Issuing and renewing parking permits and season tickets, reporting missed waste collections, reporting highways issues and faults.

Free training, Award winning community group GOAL (Getting Older Adults on Line) by kind permission of Connexus also do their training in Edinburgh House 4 x1 1 hour sessions on Tuesdays 10-12. and Fridays 10.30 – 12.30.

West Midlands Police no longer operate from Edinburgh House and is now located in the medical clinic 50 metres down by the CO-OP

Welcome to the Wem safer neighbourhood team.  Our patch covers the town of Wem of with a population over 6,000 and approximately 100 square miles round it. It includes Shawbury with a population of just under 3,000 and the villages of Muckleton in the East to Burton in the West, Weston in the North and Hadnall in the South.  It is a lovely safe place to live and work in.
